An organization for children from single parent homes due to divorce, death or incarceration. The My Extended Family Adopt-A-Child program supports the single parent in doing the absolute best for each child. It takes care of the child's needs for clothing, food, emotional support, therapeutic services, academic assistance and recreational needs. Giving children the greatest advantages to overcome challenges positions them for success that is lifelong. My Extended Family is an organization based in Flatbush, Crown Heights, Monsey, 5-Towns and Teaneck. It acts as a warm extended family, helping scores of children from single-parent homes and orphans. We offer a heartwarming array of programs and services in the neighborhood, designed to bring joy and stability to families with one parent: * After school clubs * Supervised mentoring * Holiday events * Group trips * Parenting classes * Family financial support * Educational lectures
