Key West Mikvah Nearly Complete

Chabad of the Florida Keys was established in 1995 by RabbiYaakov and Chanie Zucker. Based in Key West, they have built a community that services all of the Florida Keys.

Key West’s Jewish community is a lively mixture of locals and young Israelis who have recently left the Israeli Defense Forces and come to work and live on the island. Many of them have married and remained in Key West to build a family, becoming part of the growing community.

A great Jewish presence is now part of the Florida Keys’ daily life and Jews can get everything they need and want – from kosher food to Hebrew School, daily services, family programs and holiday workshops.

There are currently many locals who use the Mikvah regularly, in addition to many tourists. Unfortunately, they currently need to use the ocean, as the nearest Mikvah is in Miami a four hour drive away. With a beautiful new Mikvah they will, G-d willing, be able to teach and strengthen many more women to keep ‘Taharas Hamishpacha’.

Please help Chabad of Key West raise $50,000 to complete their Mikvah Project. They are ready to pour the cement for the Boros.

For the next few days every dollar donated to Chabad will be worth twice as much thanks to our matching donor!
